is Office Depot's Community Relations Program. Office
Depot believes in giving back to the communities in which
we live and work and by supporting our country's future:
Children. The mission of our program is simple…to directly
impact the quality of life for children; their education,
health, and welfare. Our goal is to make a difference
by donating products, funding, and volunteer hours to
children's charities across the nation. |

is the Gifts In Kind Program? |

Gifts
In Kind International is facilitating Office Depot's Product
Donation Program. In compliance with Office Depot's charitable
giving guidelines, Gifts In Kind International will handle
all donation requests from non-profit organizations and
coordinate the distribution of all donated products to
qualified charities. |

Does
Office Depot contribute to schools? |
|
Yes,
through our "Free Supplies for Your School" program. Please
check with your local store for details. |
|

Does
Office Depot contribute to individuals? |
|
No,
due to IRS guidelines, a charitable contribution cannot
be made to an individual. Charitable contributions can
only be made to non-profit organizations that have a 501(c)(3)
status. |

Will
Office Depot donate money and/or products in return for
advertising? |
|
Office
Depot's donations are given to organizations that directly
impact the education, health and welfare of children.
We do not make donations in return for advertising.

do I request a monetary donation from Office Depot? |
|
To
request a monetary donation from Office Depot, please
submit a letter on the letterhead of your organization,
include the Federal Tax Identification number for the
organization, what you are requesting, and the reason
for the request. Please send your letter to:

Will
Office Depot sponsor a charitable event? |
|
Each sponsorship received by Office Depot is reviewed
to ensure it meets with our charitable giving guidelines.
Once the review has taken place, a response letter is
sent to the requester. Please allow 4 weeks for a response.
