American Product Distributors is a privately owned distribution company organized in 1992 as a Joint Venture Minority Enterprise by the principals of three established minority-owned companies. APD sells and distributes consumable imaging products to corporations and institutions nationwide providing large dollar minority purchasing credit for Corporate America from one single source. APD has some 100 sku's being sold through Office Depot with another 300 items available for distribution. The corporate headquarters is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and currently employs 32 people. Additional sales and customer support locations are based in Mitchellville, Maryland, and Chicago, Illinois. Production/distribution centers are located in Jefferson City, Tennessee; Denver, Colorado; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Toronto, Canada. The company's total yearly revenue exceeds $20 million. As a minority business enterprise, APD is certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the SBA, and various State and Federal Regulatory Agencies. American Product Distributors contributes to minority communities across the nation by creating jobs, donating monies for worthy causes such as the Urban League, Filipino Assn., local arts and science councils, local ethnic associations, and local inner city schools.
