In
1989, Bob Kelly began to develop his line of ergonomic
products called KellyREST Brands, which included various
types of custom wristwrests, copyholders and adjustable
footrests. Using his contacts he had developed in the
local marketplace he began to sell his products to an
existing customer base who were familiar with him and
his company's outstanding reputation for service.
The company has won numerous awards for service, integrity
and innovation including 1988 Minnesota Minority "Business
Person the Year" and in 1991 the Minnesota Chamber
of Commerce Luther Duebner award for "Outstanding Retail
Innovation".
Bob
has received scholarships to both Dartmouth College
in 1988 and St. Thomas University for their Executive
management Training Programs.
Many National Minority Supplier Development Councils
certify the company nationwide. Bob began promoting
the products at regional Minority Vendor Trade shows
beyond Minnesota. Bob is an enrolled tribal Member of
the Turtle Mountain Indian in Reservation in Beicourt,
North Dakota.
