Rolf van Kaldekerken joined the Viking organization in 1994 as Country Manager overseeing Viking's start up business in Germany. Rolf was promoted in 1998 to Vice President & Country Manager for Germany, Benelux and Austria; then in January 2000 he was promoted to Executive Vice President of European Operations - responsible for both the Office Depot and Viking brands throughout Europe. In August 2000, Rolf was appointed Office Depot's President of European Operations, with continued responsibility for all of Office Depot's business in Europe, under both the Office Depot and Viking brands. Prior to joining Viking/Office Depot, Rolf spent 8 years with Inmac, rising to several management positions based in both France and Germany.
