What is an MSDS?

A Material Safety Data Sheet is a standardized document prepared by the manufacturer that lists product hazards and contains emergency and first aid information. MSDS sheets are not created for all products, just those that are chemical in nature like cleaning supplies and adhesives.

  • Product Name
  • Manufacturer Name
  • UPC
  • Product Code (optional)

How do I obtain a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)?

To locate a MSDS on a chemical product purchased through our company, type in the Office Depot item number in the "SEARCH" Field, and then click on the "GO" button. After the product appears, look for "Material Safety Data Sheet" noted under the picture of the item and click on it to open the MSDS.

To request a MSDS on a chemical product purchased through our Company, that is not listed on our website, please e-mail your request noting the Office Depot item number and product description to MSDSInquiry@Officedepot.com.
